Kicking off the fall season with Addie!! And boy was it a kickoff. lol She is such a sweetheart. We showed up to a normally very sleepy small town that I use all the time, not realizing they were having a classic car show that day! The entire Main Street was completely closed off and there were people EVERYWHERE. Now I've been put in these situations before (actually much worse than this... I once showed up on Die de los Meurtos festival where there was hardly standing room in some areas lol)... but coming back from a long summer break, I admit it took me a minute to snap back into "ok I got this" mode. haha But Addie wasn't fazed a bit. She trusted that I'd make it work, and I'm so glad she did. We got some seriously stunning images for her!
We made our way around town in areas that weren't overpopulated first. I try to start like this no matter how many people are around, mostly to give my seniors a few minutes to warm up and get any butterflies out. After a little bit, it's much easier to ignore random strangers glancing at us. I decided to face the challenge head on. lol I swear, people can be the nicest. It never hurts to ask a favor. ;) The sweetest couple had their awesome turquoise car parked, and it just jumped out at me. I asked if we could use it for a few, and the nice gentleman treated Addie like she was somebody famous. It was so cute seeing him fix the flag and let us use the car however we liked.
Before heading to the farm for a few more, Addie switched to the cutest dress and we grabbed a couple in town for a very fall feel.
I so enjoyed my time with this pretty girl and can't wait for spring when we do her college tee/cap & gown mini!!
