Davis is second in the lineup of brothers. His older brother kept things very simple, more agreeing to senior photos for his mom. Davis had his own ideas though, and I'm all here for it. We started at a pretty spot in Belmont, close to where I'd done a workshop years ago, so I was familiar with it. It was a great place to incorporate a really nice look. I wish all of my guys would just show up and go all out for their senior photos like Davis. It ends up making the entire shoot so much fun for everyone!
If you don't want to take my word for it, let me just throw in the fact that after I posted a few of these to my instagram, my messages started blowing up from girls responding how cute he is and how much they loved his photos. Even though he has a girlfriend, you can't tell me that's not a flattering things for someone to hear. ;) For the next part of his shoot, we headed to the lake. We did a couple of different looks here, including water photos. This was one of his requests, as he is a competitive swimmer. But y'all just wait, because they get even better! haha
The last stop was the biggest request Davis had specifically the shot at the end. He had shown me a photo he'd seen that was similar, so I decided to take that and elevate it a bit. ;) Just know anytime you guys show me inspiration boards or pics for your senior session, I will always take that and do my best to take it up a notch or two. I never want to be a copycat, so I make it our own creation that someone else will likely use for their own inspo! As mentioned, Davis is a competitive swimmer (in fact, the lifeguard challenged him to a race in the middle of our shoot lol). So these were super important, and I was SO excited. I love when I get to do something different! The very last image now hangs in their home as a gorgeous vivid metal. The behind the scenes of those were so funny. lol But he LOVED how it turned out!
