Katie is one of those people you wish you could stick in your pocket and carry around with you. She's so stinking cute! Katie had her heart set on two things... her Auburn merch bc Go War Eagles and FLOWERS.

Because we had quite the drive from our area to the flower fields, we started in downtown Davidson to give her a little variety before trekking it north. We got a few of her in her cute teal dress, then made sure to get plenty in her college gear. We even had some passersby chant for her! haha

After Davidson, we headed towards one of my favorite poppy fields about two hours from the Lake Norman area. And I can promise you, it's worth every single mile. Gorgeous blooms as far as you can see. Varying shades of pink in one area and vibrant red in another. Katie wore the most perfect long dress for these. And when I explain patterns at consultations, this is a great example... it complimented the colors without being too distracting and taking the focus off of Katie. I also love maxis as they give movement and interest to a photo.

But enough talk. Let's skip to the good part.
