After Kannapolis, we headed to Charlotte at one of my favorite artsy locations. Everything there is so colorful and fun, the perfect place for a more casual feel. I LOVED Katie's lavender pants. They were the best compliment to the artwork. Katie opted not to do a full ballerina look, but she did bring her shoes just to pay a little tribute to all the hours she's spent in them. 

Also fun story... anyone who has worked with me will tell you I'm a bit all over the place. Climbing, crawling, contorting the best I can. Anything for the shot. Unfortunately, when I went to put my camera in it's holster as I was climbing a hill with a metal fence... I missed. My assistant Libby said it was like watching it in slo-mo. She tried to reach and catch it, but she was too far. Thankfully I always have a backup. ;)
