Lauren's Small Town and Flower Fields Senior Session

If this location is suddenly starting to look familiar, it's because it's truly one of my most popular and requested senior sessions. But what I really like about sharing these sessions is being able to show just how different each senior's photos will turn out even if they're shot at the same places! Every one is different... different styles, different personalities, and different preferences. I've been saying this ever since I started: I can literally put two different seniors in the same exact spot and get totally distinct photos for each of those seniors. Lauren loved the look of both the small town and the flower fields, so that's where we headed. But since a couple of her friends had used these same places in the past with me, I wanted to make sure her photos were her own.

Funny enough, this was the second festival I happened to have attended here within a month. lol Luckily I was prepared this time, but man it was still very crowded for a town with a tiny population. But the festival was also starting to wrap up by the time we got there, so it really wasn't too bad.

Before heading to the farm, Lauren switched to this gorgeous blue and white dress. I love a long dress as it gives so much movement to an image (and also something to do with your hands!). We stopped by the local Palm Berries for a potty break and a snack, bc why not. ;) While we were there, the guy was super nice and said we could use the place for a few photos. So once again, a great example of going to the same locations but having a very different experience! Lauren also LOVES pickles. lol So we had to get one in front of the pickle store!

Next we headed towards the flowers! I've been using this local farm for a few years now, and it's been so cool to see them expand and fine tune their process. They're such wonderful people. This past year, they installed a beautiful glass house. It's been the best addition to the fields. The way that sun peeks through the windows is chef's kiss. You may notice an extra person in a few. ;) Lauren asked if she could get some photos with her cutee boyfriend Cohen (we called him Thor tho haha). He's such a nice guy! Some guys feel a little fun about being in front of the camera, especially if they're supposed to act all cutesy. lol But he honestly was amazing!! I even had him stand in and pretend to be one of my seniors while Lauren went to change. That way we wouldn't lose our spot with the glass house. :)

Lauren's next dress was so pretty and perfect for the flower fields. It gave her lots of movement but also went with wherever I put her!

I had the best time with Lauren, Cohen, and her mom! They're the nicest people, and I can't wait to see her again next spring for her cap & gown photos!!
