Huntersville Couple Session
I don’t do couples sessions very often, mostly due to the fact that I don’t photograph weddings. But when my cute niece asked if I’d do some photos of her and her boyfriend, I couldn’t say no. I’ve known Skyler since she was born. I spent years babysitting her and watching her grow up. She’s also one of my little sister’s BFFs. So yeah… no wasn’t an option. Lol. She and her boyfriend JJ are absolutely adorable though. He’s been so good to her, and she truly deserves to be happy and loved. So glad he’s able to see just how awesome of a person she is like the rest of us do.
We chose to do the couple shoot at my place in Huntersville. You see, we took over the Kemper home which is where my office is now. But since she was raised by a single mom, most of her childhood was spent here. This is her home base, so I just felt like it made sense to do them here. Plus we have a pretty neighborhood. 😉 They also brought along their new puppy who was SO CUTE. We made sure to get plenty that included her.
And of course, as with every session I do, I made sure to grab a few individual shots of them. I just think these are so important. Often parents will want one to keep for themselves, so it’s always a good idea. The last time I photographed Skyler was when she was a senior, so it was so fun to have the chance to capture this pretty girl again.
I had a great time with these two that afternoon. It was fun to pose a couple again for a change. Thanks for being good to our girl JJ and keeping her happy!
Spring is here, y’all! And it’s the perfect time to plan your portrait session! I only have a couple dates left, so contact me asap to get on the calendar!
