Log Cabin Family Session
I fell in love with this cutie and his family last summer when I photographed his birthday photos. He is adorable and totally melted my heart. For their Fall family session, Sarah asked if we could do them at her family’s log cabin in Salisbury. After the passing of her grandmother, they were preparing to sell the property where the log cabin sits. It holds so many fun memories for their family, that it really was a fabulous choice for their session.
Zechariah was his usual cute self, albeit a bit bigger and busier as most toddlers get. Lots of running was involved. Lol. I loved all of the cool character this cabin has to offer. It was so neat to see the inside and hear Sarah tell me about growing up and enjoying it with her grandparents. I’m so happy we were able to incorporate it into their photos. When discussing location options, I will often ask clients if they have anywhere special to them. I now probably do more photo sessions in clients’ back yards, farms, and homes than I do in any random park these days. And I love it!! It keeps my job fresh and interesting for me, while also providing some beautiful photos in such personal, special places for my clients.
After the log cabin Fall themed family session, Sarah asked if they could do some photos in their Halloween costumes. And y’all know I was game! haha. Sarah and her husband have dressed up in this theme in years’ past, and they knew this may be the last time Zechariah doesn’t have an opinion on his costume. 😉 But omg he was so darn CUTE. I could hardly stand it. Also, plus side to hiring Wildflower Photography for your photos is that I take the stress out of your gift giving to do list. We knock out the photo narrowing process in an hour or so, and I take care of the rest! For this session, Sarah was able to get a sweet album for herself and then a separate one to give her mom for Christmas!
