Mother Daughter Model Shoot
I had meant to get this Mother Daughter Model Shoot up last week before Mother’s Day, but you know… life. But it’s only been a couple of days, so let’s just pretend it’s still totally relevant. Lol. Before the pandemic made its way to NC, back during my slower season, I put together a fun Mother Daughter shoot for my model team in Davidson. Several of us met up for a fun evening of shooting, mother daughter bonding, and dinner afterwards (shoutout to Brickhouse Tavern for making some very hungry ladies happy).
It was a little chilly, but these girls were troopers, and it was a lot of fun. The mommas seemed to really love being included this time. As a mom to my own little girl now, it was special for me to capture their relationships (and take notes 😉 ), especially before several of these girls leave for college soon.
I love shooting in Davidson, and even with there being strict photography restrictions for the campus (womp womp), it doesn’t stop me from finding awesome spots. Especially that Main Street. Always a favorite. It made the perfect backdrop for a mother daughter shoot. Classy and cute, but the focus still remains on them.
The cool part about my job is being able to capture so many different and fun personalities. Each mother-daughter pair has their own unique bond and way of interacting. It’s really cute. We had fun walking around the area and using different cute spots. Including this adorable information booth. Davidson also has a well known area with the sign “Eden St Market”. And since we had our own Eden, there’s no way we were leaving without a shot of that. 😉
It’s been so fun getting to know not only my incredible model team girls, but also their families. They’re all uniquely beautiful inside and out, and it’s obvious where they get it from. 😉
Mommas, has it been awhile since your last mother daughter shoot? Let’s fix that!
