Spring Family Photos
I truly enjoyed photographing this family so much. I actually went to elementary school (and middle and high school) with these three sisters. We obviously go way back. 😉 Adrienne and her sisters decided to gift their mom a photo session for Christmas. Since part of the family lives out of state, they opted to wait and do Spring family photos. I honestly love Spring for portrait sessions. The weather is warming up, everything is in bloom, and it’s time to break out the colorful outfits.
Since Laura and her family were coming in from Florida for Easter, we literally had one shot to get these family photos done. We met the day before, and the entire drive there, I kept watching those clouds and begging that they would stay away. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it was chilly and was drizzling a little. But we were determined to make this work, and I’m so glad we weren’t deterred by the way this family session was starting out! It only rained for a few minutes, and then the sun came out and things began to warm up a bit.
It had been forever since I had seen the older two (I photographed them years ago when they were babies), and I had never met the other kiddos. They are just the sweetest group of kids! And they clearly love each other. The girls had a great time posing and coming up with ideas. It was also great to get those updated family portraits.
I had such a fabulous time with this family, and I’m honored they chose me to update their family photos.
