Wildflower Model Team 2019 Styled Shoot
This Wildflower Model Team of mine, y’all. Just when I don’t think we could possibly top the year before, they show up and kill it. For those just now tuning in, I have a model team full of high school teens and seniors that represent my business. Along with parties and fun casual shoots, I put together a massive styled shoot for them each year. They get a full day of legit model treatment, including professional hair and makeup and modeling gorgeous boutique clothing.
This year, we were fortunate enough to partner with some incredible vendors. Once again, Jody and Norelle worked their magic at Jody’s salon, making my model team girls look stunning for their styled shoot. I’m always so amazed at what they end up creating. It absolutely goes to show you that professional hair and makeup is crucial to pulling off something like this. It’s why I encourage it for each of my seniors.
Jan from Hazel & Indigo provided the cutest outfits for the girls to model. And even cooler, these images will now be featured on her new website! Trust me, you will want to check it out! I’m a huge fan of her pieces, and she definitely knows how to style her clients. I am in love with every look she put together. I’m so excited to be working with her in the future as well. Stay tuned!
Pine Island Country Club was gracious enough to let us take over their place that day. It was the perfect backdrop for our shoot, giving us a variety of looks without having to trek across a massive area. It was a bit overcast that day, and when it started to get misty out, we used their gorgeous ballroom. Lily Rose Bridal gave us some gorgeous formalwear for the girls to model. They looked so beautiful. I can’t recommend the ladies at Lily Rose enough either. This is the second time I’ve partnered with them, and they have always been amazing to work with, going above and beyond to make sure each girl looks and feels her best.
If all of those fabulous companies weren’t enough, Carolina Charm Vintage Rentals also teamed up with us and provided two gorgeous pieces to add to our styled shoot, the Mabel loveseat and the Clara chair. I’ve worked with Christine a couple of times in the past and just adore her. She’s one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Since our first shoot together, she’s had a beautiful baby girl AND became a part of the team over at Bustld! No worries, though, she’s still renting out her beautiful furniture for weddings and events. Definitely look her up!
Finally, the girls modeled these cute custom shirts, designed by Thousand Oaks Clothing Co. Aren’t they adorable? They’re super soft too! Since our sweet girl Eden sadly wasn’t able to make the styled shoot, I actually had her stop by my office to model a couple more shirts for us.
I just love these girls so much! They’re all so uniquely beautiful, inside and out. Because I only get so much time with my senior clients, my Wildflower Model Team gives me a chance to really get to know these girls and pour some positivity into their lives. This year, I’m wanting to try and do more fun shoots with them, and I already have some awesome ideas in the works!
A BIG BIG THANK YOU to all of the vendors involved. These annual styled shoots are a lot of work to put together, and I know I wouldn’t be able to pull it off without them.
