I swear time is crazy. Sometimes it feels like one minute I'm photographing a senior with their family... I blink... then I'm doing the same thing for the younger sibling. That's how it felt with Ashton. I met him on his older sister Caitlin's senior session and now here we are for his. 

They wanted to do something similar for his senior photos... a fall shoot in nature then another one in the spring like his sister's (you'll have to wait for those but they're going to be just as insane as Caitlin's).

We chose a random weekday and it just so happened to be dark and rainy. I offered to move his day to a prettier one, but they weren't the least bit concerned about it. And I'm glad we didn't, bc I think they ended up looking really awesome. The mood is different and I love it.

To start though, just like with the other shoots we've done, family comes first. ;) I love that they always bring their sweet pups too. 

We switched the focus back on Ashton while dad took the doggies home. Mom and Caitlin hung out with us, which was a lot of fun. I got to catch up with Caitlin and she was the perfect hype sister. haha

For 15 years, I've been photographing people at this old rusty truck. I had no idea Ashton would be my last client to use with it. After this session, that lil broken down Mater truck disappeared. :( The field I use pretty often also underwent a big eco renovation. The creek area now has a fence up, but before it was installed, we got to use it for Ashton.

Despite it being dark and rainy for most of the shoot, the sky ended up giving us a beautiful sunset to end our time with. Get ready though, because the next time you see Ashton up here on the blog, it's going to be a VERY different vibe. haha
