When Luna's family came in for their consultation, I knew it was going to be a good one. They had such a cool energy about them... a little country, a little witchy, a little embrace-who-you-are type vibes. They drove all the way from Mineral Springs for me, and I never take it lightly when clients find Wildflower Photography and think "yes, that's worth the extra time this may take".
I always want to make sure my seniors' photoshoot reflect who they are, and I love when they really want to play into their interests. They loved the idea of a small town cozy feel, and since Luna is a big reader, I knew exactly where I needed to take her. Main Street Books is a longstanding legend in the town of Davidson. My mom and her best friend actually helped it open when I was little. The people that work there are awesome, and sure enough, they were happy to let us use their space for a few photos.
After the book store, we explored around Davidson, grabbing plenty of adorable shots of Luna in town. And of course, I always offer to take a few family photos, so we sprinkled those in throughout the session as well. ;)
A big part of Luna's high school career has been her involvement in the FFA. She's actually the president of it!! We knew we needed to incorporate that somehow, so I took them to a local field where we could get her in some nature. Not only that, we were able to use her FFA jacket and few other cool props her mom wanted included that really represent Luna... including a glow moon! :) And of course, we made sure to get a few of Luna with her moms. Love that they truly wanted to celebrate everything Luna.I feel like her mom Jules put it best in their inquiry form: "She deserves all the most beautiful things life has to offer and I could not be more proud of her!"
