The South Charlotte seniors are officially taking over Wildflower Photography! Which is funny, because I'm all the way in Huntersville... but I'm not complaining! ;) From Charlotte Christian to Ardrey Kell to Weddington, I'm now getting more high school seniors from that area than I am of my own. Pretty sure I have both Sophie and Darcy to thank for starting that trend, but honestly it can be hard "breaking into" a school if there's always been someone everyone tends to use, even if they're not crazy about the photos. Often senior photos are seen as an item on a list to check off... but if you've landed on my website, then you know that's not how we do things around here. lol Senior year is a ONCE in a lifetime thing! It's typically the only time a photoshoot will be all about YOU. Other sessions involve either family or eventually your future spouse. This is where we spend time documenting you as a person during such a pivotal moment in life.
Which is how I ended up with Grant! :) Not only is he a genuinely nice guy, I would like to call up his mom any time I've having a down day. lol She has to be one of the sweetest, most encouraging people I've ever met! I seriously loved my time with both of them.
Grant's such a classy guy. His outfits definitely screamed his style, but I also love when these boys are open to suggestions and help from myself and my assistant. He brought a few options, but my personal favorite is often the most casual look. Especially for this area. I just feel like my guys look comfortable and relaxed, and it shows in their overall body language. But of course we couldn't skip out on his GA shirt!
I had the best time with Grant and his mom. He's the nicest guy and clearly easy to photograph. He made our evening fun and was a great way to kick off what ended up being a very busy spring!
